You will feel as if someone is pushing down on your skull. This is actually the pressure building in the cavities where air would normally flow and yet cannot get to now. Again, it is unlike any other feeling you have with a cold.

There are usually non-specific pains associated with the sinus infection signs and symptoms, such as toothache, earache and headaches. Again, this depends on the type of sinus infection though and will vary in severity.

Again, it is necessary to point out that you may not have all of these symptoms present if you are suffering with sinusitis. You may only have one or two. However, if you have pain across the front of your skull, a heavy feeling inside of the skull and feel congested then the likelihood is that you have sinusitis and should seek a medical diagnosis.
